Zach Said reveals new track 'Holding On' – premiere

Zach Said has dropped a new jam, ‘Holding On’, which you can listen to first via The Independent.

The Shropshire-born artist, who supported Anderson .Paak at 02 Kentish Town Forum in April this year, describes his music as “that stuff that makes your head twitch and say ‘ssshiiittttt aahh daammnn uuummhhhhh’ and he lives up to those expectations with this single.

Featuring a foot-stomping beat and a throbbing bass line, it’s a great new release to follow up his equally-excellent track “No Love”, which dropped back in August.

Check it out below:

Q&A with Zach Said

What are you listening to at the moment?

Lots of Daniel Caesar, on repeat, the dudes a don

What are your plans for the rest of the year?

I’ve got an EP release at the end of September and my headline show October 26th, also: eating.

What was the first gig you ever played and what’s been the best so far?

First was an open mic in a church and I accidentally (maybe) swore.

Best one so far has been supporting Anderson Paak in London. Crazy.
