JBS Shareholder Offers to Turn in Passport

SÃO PAULO—The former chairman of Brazilian meatpacking giant JBS SA, Joesley Batista, on Saturday offered to turn his passport over to legal authorities and has requested a hearing with the country’s Supreme Court following reports that a blockbuster plea deal he signed earlier this year could soon fall apart, according to a member of his legal team.
