CONCORD — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man sought in connection with burglary and identity theft cases who ran from officers earlier this week.

In a Facebook post late Tuesday, Concord police said officers who were investigating a series of break-ins at Sun Valley mall saw Lenny Cabrera in a parking garage Tuesday evening.

Cabrera ran to his car, described by police as a black 2016 Chrysler 300 with California license plates 7PVK445, and fled south on Interstate 680, giving pursuing officers the slip along Highway 24 near Pleasant Hill Road, police said.

Anyone with information should call 911 or Concord police dispatch at 925-671-3241.
