Bill Murray makes fans’ concert dreams come true

Bill Murray was back to being, well, Bill Murray as he bought up and then doled out tickets for fans waiting in line at a South Carolina concert, according to a report Tuesday.

The ”Caddyshack” cutup plunked down cash for all of the remaining tickets to a performance by country star Chris Stapleton’s former band The Steeldrivers at the Charleston Music Hall, Thursday night, according to the music blog savingcountrymusic.com.

Fans’ mouths hung open as he passed them out in a random act of kindness, according to the local station Live 5 News.

“He went up to everyone in line waiting to buy tickets at the box office and gave them all tickets,” said fan Adam Gloeckler, who snapped a photo of Murray in do-gooder mode.

“It is something that everyone who experienced it will never forget,” Gloeckler gushed.“If only everyone in the world was like Bill Murray!”

The “Groundhog Day” star, who lives part-time in Charleston, has a history of doing nice things for strangers, including buying Major League Baseball tickets for a woman last year and posing with a random couple for their engagement photos.

The SteelDrivers, which plays bluegrass, were nominated for a Grammy in 2009.
