Alec Baldwin jokes about his infamous voicemail message

Alec Baldwin, who’s been getting laughs as Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” took to the stage at Carolines on Broadway Thursday as part of a stand-up show called “Bad Parent.”

We hear the volatile actor aptly brought up that infamous voicemail to daughter Ireland, when he was caught calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

But he told the audience it was actually “a much, softer, sweeter version . . . I was driving through a canyon, so apparently it sounded different on her phone,” he cracked.

Baldwin teased more comedy shows with themes like “Bad Boyfriend.”

When an audience member suggested “Bad President,” he quipped, “Oh, I think we’d need to make that one a monthlong festival.”
